Housing inventory shortages persist despite increase in new listings:Â Â
KIRKLAND, Washington (June 6, 2016) – Just as expected, the month of May had an uptick in new listings (12,272), but just as many buyers (12,275) made offers on homes during the month to keep inventory depleted, according to the latest figures from Northwest Multiple Listing Service.Â
- Inventory down 22% from last year (2015)
- 80% Of all homes listed are sold within the first 30 days
- King County median price is up 16.5% for single family homes since last year
